Each Rossi trike is custom built to the owner’s specifications. We start with the pilot’s height, then wing choice and finally the engine preference. No other non Italian manufacturer offers such customization and at such an exceedingly affordable price too.

The trike unit is an all welded stainless steel cantilevered chassis design, offering superior strength over the standard bolted tube design. This construction method assures greater comfort for both pilot and passenger with uncommon stability of the trike both in the air and on the ground. The center of gravity is set low and well below the engine thrust line which aids considerably in canceling out the effects on the trike’s pitch attitude caused by changing power-variations, as is evident in many other designs. A lowered center of gravity greatly reduces the risk of roll over in fast ground handling or rough field operations too.

Many features not even offered on other trike models come standard on the Rossi. Features such as all three wheel braking with alloy wheels, lower more ideal and comfortable bar position reducing that aching shoulder feeling you get most other 2 seat makes on long flights. A fully covered trike body with a composite pod, streamlined engine, side, axle and wheel fairings reduce parasitic drag and better conducts the air to the propeller. All this contributes to the sleek and elegant aerodynamic form of this Italian beauty

The distinctive shape of the Rossi’s complete fiberglass covering also aides in yaw stability thanks to the amount of side profile created by the composite material. This helps the pilot maintain lateral stability especially at higher flight speeds. Dual throttles, choke, retractable foot rests for the passenger, trailing arm type suspension with shock absorber and coil spring along with three point fixing of the trike pylon/mast to wing, compared with two on all other trikes, all go to make this what could best be described as a Ferrari in the sky.

There is a choice of wings from the Airborne Wizard or Streak to the superb Grif and Hazard from Italy and engines from the Rotax 447 to 582 or Hirth, the choice is yours. Whether you choose the single 1+1 model or the two place, the Rossi gives you elegant Italian styling yet remains attractively priced.
