STRATOMASTER – UL … FLIGHT INSTRUMENT FOR THOSE NOT REQUIRING ENGINE TEMPERATURE MONITORING In one single easy to install and use package, you get: Altimeter: 0-16.000 ft, QNH (local pressure) adjustment with one step QNE setting. Resolution 10 ft. Very accurate, implements standard atmosphere as defined by ANSI (American National Standards Institute). Air speed: (ASI). 0-120 mph. Pitot tube pressure type. Adjustment setting to allow for errors created due to installation of the pitot tube. Vertical speed: (VSI). +/- 0-2000 ft range, 10 ft resolution. Altitude compensated with zero calibration function. Glide ratio indicator: Whenever the instrument detects that you are gliding and your revs are below 3500 rpm, you get a display of your glide ratio, i.e. the ratio of your distance traveled forwards vs. your vertical sink speed. Range from 0.0 to 99.9. Static port: available for faster aircraft or those with closed cockpits. Rev counter: Universal input. Calibration function for engines ranging from two strokes such as those from Rotax to four strokes. Rotax DCDI ignition from 503, 582, 618 and 912/914 supported. Any engine that can generate from 1 to 100 pulses per ten revs can be used. Rev counter range to 9999 revs/minute. Rev sensitive Hobbs counter: Counts to 9999 hours, resolution one minute. Hobbs accumulates if revs are higher than 2000 rpm. Hobbs counter can be reset to zero (for example if you fit a new engine). Rev sensitive flight timer: This useful timer is often used to time your flights. You can reset it to zero at any time and it counts up whenever your engine is running. Operates from 7V DC to 18V DC: (higher voltage models on request). Internal power supply filter/protection. Operation directly from the engine’s ignition system or lighting coils is possible, but we do not recommend this. We prefer having the instrument available and usable even if the engine is not running. Top quality, wide temperature range LCD display - with backlighting as standard. The Stratomaster UL uses the same excellent display that is used with our superb Stratomaster Flight. Very low EMI - no problems with radio interference. Also, the Stratomaster UL is immune to strong radio transmissions. Compact size: Front panel 224x64 mm, Panel cutout required: 204x54 mm, Mounting depth 65 mm including wiring. Very light weight: Only 380 grams. Very low current consumption: 140 mA with backlight, 40 mA with backlight switched off. Our Stratomaster UL instrument offers aircraft quality, very accurate instruments at a fraction of the cost you would expect to pay for ordinary instruments, even budget ones. Quality and reliability have been put where it counts, even very expensive analogue instruments are unable to match the Stratomaster range of digital instruments when it comes to accuracy or reliability. For USA overseas shipping we recommend insured and registered air-freight. Of course we can offer the cheaper Air Mail posting but it is not possible to have your instrument order insured, so if the customer accepts that he/she takes the risk if it is lost then we can ship Air Mail. This may take 10-15 working days and the cost is approximately $25. For those in a hurry or wishing to have their instrument insured, we can offer a courier service using UPS. For example: USA is approximately $90 insured. Our Courier services deliver to your door in approximately 3-5 working days (Subject to no customs delay).
